“We should start a band!” When musicians become friends, it’s hard not to dream of collaborating together. For Andrea Krajeski (Without A Doubt, formerly Typical Ace), Chelsea Weaver (Filthy Traitors, Passiflora, Without A Doubt), and Caitlin Wittlif (formerly Mister Blank), this half-hatched notion over tacos turned into a new, fruitful creative project.
With excitement and no preconceived notions, Sick Crush’s energetic punky rock sound evolved out of three-part collaboration, with all musicians trading lyrical and songwriting duties. “The support I feel in exploring my own creativity in this band cannot be overstated,” says Wittlif. “More than anything, we’re having so much fun with it!”
Sick Crush may be new on the scene, but their members have been involved in Seattle’s music community for combined decades, are excited to share what they’ve been cooking up. Be on the lookout for song releases leading into a debut album and shows around Washington soon!
